Adelaide Boat Licence makes getting your SA boat licence a breeze with expert trainers, flexible course dates across South Australia, and everything you need to hit the water with confidence. This course contains roughly 3 hours of theory education, plus your licence exam. Once you pass the exam, we’ll give you a licence qualification – simply take this into Service SA to purchase your licence. You can get your licence as early as the following day.
About the licence:
You must hold a current SA Boat Operator’s licence to operate any type of recreational vessel fitted with an engine, regardless of the size of the boat or its engine, or whether the engine is being used at the time. The SA Boat Operators licence can be used for the operation of both boats and PWC (jetskis), however it cannot be used for commercial purposes or to operate a commercial vessel.
